What is COVID 19?

Some believe it's as advertised.

A virus far worse than the seasonal flu with facts shockingly comparable if clarity were included too. Others don't believe in the virus or Germ Theory at all. It's still a theory, not very small.

For others it's all simply a "hoax" with all the confusion that word invokes when death is in the mix.

That's quite a spread folks. How on Earth are we going to tread through this? Let's start with "offensive" vocabulary first.

The word "hoax" in this context is very confusing and extremely inappropriate for many.

A hoax for most is a prank with a mischievous twist. A joke for adults or thick skinned folks.

Most assuredly, millions feel calling COVID 19 a "hoax" an egregious insult to all who died, all who are grieving and all who are toiling tireless to "fight off this deadly virus".

And then there are others who believe they are in the majority who've been taught to always look at the Glass Half Full!

Stay Positive!

It's all about Positive Mental Attitude, right?

I was talking to a guy the other day who is hell bent on looking at his Glass Half Full at all times.

He looked so rosy as his tank runs dry.

Unfortunately, what he's been doing to sustain that mental image as the water drained from his glass has entailed the cover up of the top part of the glass with his minds eye blind.

When the glass was 1/4 full he mentally masked the glasses top half and By George, it was still half full!!

And while he wanted desperately to maintain his positive mental attitude, there's been a hole in his glass and it's been draining fast and doing so for a very long time.

And the bigger problem is what here?

Until he acknowledges the glass is no longer half full, he'll never even look for the leak.

It wasn't until I asked him what he intended to do when there was only 4 drops left in his glass that I was able to get his attention.

It was then, when I un-masked 95% of his imaginary glass with my hands in a motion, that he finally saw the drops for what they were.

For him, this was a long needed pitstop just before empty and a wakeup call he could no longer ignore.
